In a major crackdown to eliminate criminals from the US, 84 illegal aliens were arrested by ICE agents in a recent immigration operation.
Tennessee State Troopers and ICE officers uncovered illegal drugs, guns, and even gang members during the operation, which conducted 150 traffic stops targeting areas with high crash rates.

Liberal Nashville officials and activists erupted in protests as buses transported detainees to detention centers.
The operation targeted South Nashville neighborhoods where traffic violations and crashes have been prevalent.
Among those detained was a confirmed gang member and a 39-year-old Mexican illegal with prior removals and felony convictions on his record.
Law enforcement discovered multiple drivers without valid licenses, illegal drugs, and firearms during approximately 150 traffic stops.
“Protecting the safety and security of our communities remains a top priority for ICE,” said New Orleans Field Office Director Mellissa Harper.
“As part of our ongoing mission to uphold U.S. immigration laws, our targeted enforcement operations are specifically focused on individuals who threaten public safety or national security,” she continued.
The successful operation demonstrates how federal and state cooperation can effectively enforce immigration laws without relying on sanctuary city officials.
Notably, the Metro Nashville Police Department and Davidson County Sheriff’s Office did not participate in the operation, highlighting the ongoing resistance from local officials to enforce immigration laws.
Furthermore, large charter buses transported many detainees to federal immigration detention centers in Louisiana for processing.
Operations continued throughout the week, with additional enforcement actions on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The strategic approach focused on known problem areas in Nashville, such as traffic violations and criminal activity histories.
Liberal activists and Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell quickly condemned the operation, with O’Connell accusing ICE of “terrorizing” the community.
This response from local officials starkly contrasts the reality of the operation, which specifically targeted individuals posing threats to public safety.
“The trauma inflicted on families is long-lasting, and I’m doing everything in my power consistent with applicable law to protect anyone who calls Nashville home,” O’Connell complained.
ICE defended its approach as strategic enforcement by highly trained professionals committed to community safety.
Unlike the chaotic open border policies of the Biden administration, these targeted operations remove specific threats while maintaining immigration law integrity.
The operation’s success demonstrates the effectiveness of coordinated immigration enforcement at the state and federal levels.
As illegal immigration continues to overwhelm American communities nationwide, operations like this one in Nashville provide a blueprint for how determined law enforcement can protect communities when political will exists to enforce the nation’s immigration laws.
