A Majority of Americans Say ‘No!’

(TheRedAlertNews.com) All across the United States, employers – both large and small – are firing employees, even employees with many years of service to the employer, because the employee has refused to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

The question raging across the country is whether or not it’s fair to terminate an employee for objecting to being vaccinated with this relatively new vaccine.

Now, because of an in-depth Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey, we know that a significant percentage of Americans don’t believe workers should lose their jobs just because they object to being jabbed with the vaccine.

In fact, when asked, “Do you believe Americans should lose their jobs if they object to taking the COVID-19 vaccine?”, 65 percent said “no,” while 22 percent said “yes,” and a bit more than 12 percent were undecided.

Significantly, the results were more bipartisan than most polls these days.

The survey found that 83.5 percent of Republicans are opposed to termination for objecting to the jab, while 48 percent of Democrats and 64 percent of Independents are also opposed. 

That 64 percent of Independents is critical as, in many recent elections, Independents have been the deciding voting bloc. And, that is becoming more true as millions of Americans have left the GOP and the Democratic Party and registered as Unaffiliated or Independent.

Given these survey numbers, what will elected officials do when it comes to enacting and enforcing C19 vaccine mandates? What will employers do going forward? Time will tell, but it’s clear that employment termination does not sit well with the American people.
