(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Bank records obtained by the GOP-led House Oversight Committee show several Biden family members, including Joe Biden’s daughter-in-law Hallie, have received large sums of money from a Chinese energy company.
The newly uncovered bank documents were subpoenaed from Bank of America as part of the panel’s investigation into First Son Hunter Biden and the business dealings of the Biden family.
They show that John “Rob” Walker, a Biden family associate, received $3 million from State Energy HK Ltd, a firm in Communist China.
Walker then used his company to transfer portions of that money to Hunter Biden, James Biden, Hallie Biden, and an unknown “Biden,” the committee announced in a Twitter thread on Thursday.
Thus, Hallie Biden, the widow of Joe Biden’s elder son Beau who also had a relationship with Hunter Biden, received $35,000 from Rob Walker.
Walker sent Hallie Biden the above sum over two wire transfers in 2017.
According to Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, State Energy HK Ltd., the company that sent $3 million to Rob Walker, is connected with the regime of the Chinese Communist Party.
“Everyone says it was an energy deal,” Comer told Fox News, as cited by Newsmax.
“Well, it looks to me like these people, who were closely aligned with the Chinese Communist Party, sent $3 million to a shell corporation, and then they turned around and split it three ways with one-third going to the Biden family, three different family members for no apparent reason,” the Republican congressman elaborated.
He stressed that Walker wired the Chinese money to the Bidens two months after the end of Joe Biden’s second term as vice president.
“A fourth bank account identified as an unknown “Biden” also received money. We are continuing to investigate the identity of this account holder,” the House Oversight Committee wrote on Twitter.
“From the bank records, it appears that the Biden family received approximately one-third of the money obtained from the China wire,” it added.
“Ultimately, the American people deserve transparency into the extent of the Biden family’s influence peddling. We intend to deliver legislation that will preclude family members from capitalizing on their relatives’ public office as we suspect the Bidens to have done,” the committee’s Twitter thread concluded.
A representative of the White House dismissed the House Oversight Committee’s revelations and insisted the GOP lawmakers should instead collaborate with the president.
“After a disgusting attack lamenting that the president’s deceased son Beau was never prosecuted while he was alive, Congressman Comer has now decided to go after Beau’s widow,” declared White House spokesman Ian Sams.
“Instead of bizarrely attacking the president’s family, perhaps House Republicans should focus on working with the president to deliver results for American families on important priorities like lowering costs and strengthening health care,” Joe Biden’s operative advised.
Sams then defended Hunter Biden’s “right” as a private citizen to do business by joining “several business partners in seeking a joint venture with a privately owned, legitimate energy company in China.”
“As part of that joint venture, Hunter received his portion of good faith seed funds, which he shared with his uncle, James Biden, and Hallie Biden, with whom he was involved with at the time and sharing expenses. The accounts so dramatically listed by Representative Comer belonged to Hunter, his uncle and Hallie — nobody else,” the White House spokesman declared.
