(TheRedAlertNews.com) – HAPPENING NOW: Just minutes ago, a federal judge in Washington, DC, sentenced former Trump adviser Steve Bannon to four months in jail for refusing to comply with a subpoena from the congressional committee investigating the January 6, 2021, riot at the United States Capitol.
Bannon was also ordered to pay a $6,500 fine.
Bannon must surrender and be incarcerated by November 15th unless he files an appeal.

“Donald Trump’s former adviser, Steve Bannon, has been sentenced to four months in prison after being convicted of contempt of Congress.
“Bannon was found guilty by a jury for failing to comply with a House of Representatives subpoena relating to an ongoing January 6 investigation of the attack on the Capitol.
“The prosecution was seeking a six-month sentence as well as a $200,000 dollar fine. Bannon was only forced to pay $6,500.
“Bannon is expected to appeal the ruling shortly and ask for the sentencing to be postponed until his challenge is filed.”
As he entered the courthouse, Bannon said:
“I want to thank all you guys for coming. Remember this illegitimate regime, their judgment day is on eight November when the Biden administration ends. I want to thank you all for coming.”
