(TheRedAlertNews.com) – BREAKING NOW: Just moments ago, a federal judge ordered the affidavit sworn to by federal law enforcement that is the legal basis for the search executed by more than a dozen FBI agents at former President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago retreat two Mondays ago will be made public tomorrow in redacted form.
As National Review broke the story in a brief report:
“A federal judge has ordered the Department of Justice to release a redacted version of the search-warrant affidavit used to justify the raid on former president Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.
“The affidavit, which explains why investigators believed there was probable cause to search Trump’s home, must be released by Friday at noon.”
The judge had previously ordered the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) to file proposed redactions under seal by today.
DOJ complied with that order.
Shortly after DOJ filed its proposed redactions, the judge issued today’s ruling.
