(TheRedAlertNews.com) – ALERT: Vice President Kamala Harris has been forced to isolate herself after testing positive for COVID-19.
Harris, who is first in line to succeed President Joe Biden if something were to happen to Biden, is the highest-ranking member of the Biden administration to test positive for the coronavirus.
According to the Office of the Vice President, Harris tested positive on Tuesday morning. Her staff claims Harris is not exhibiting any symptoms and hadn’t been in close contact with either President Joe Bide or First Lady Jill Biden.
Harris, 57, “will isolate and continue to work from the Vice President’s residence,” her press secretary, Kirsten Allen, told the media.
Additionally, Harris tested positive for COVID-19 on both the rapid and the PCR tests available to all White House employees, her office said, adding that she will not return to the White House until she tests negative.
According to a recent tweet by Harris — see below — she is fully vaccinated and boosted twice against the virus.
This is a breaking news report from Red Alert News.
Yesterday I received my second COVID-19 booster shot. We know that getting vaccinated is the best form of protection from this virus and boosters are critical in providing an additional level of protection. If you haven’t received your first booster—do it today.
