ALERT: Mass Shooting; 30 Shot

( – BREAKING NEWS ALERT: Tragedy struck a neighborhood gathering in Baltimore, Maryland, when a mass shooting resulted in the deaths of two people and left 28 others wounded early Sunday morning, according to local police.

Richard Worley, the Acting Commissioner of the Baltimore Police Department, discussed the incident during a press briefing, stating that the police department was heavily involved in investigating the broad-ranging crime scene.

Unfortunately, there is currently no information regarding potential suspects or the motivation behind the crime.

Tragically, an 18-year-old woman died at the scene, while a 20-year-old man died at the hospital.

Out of those injured, nine individuals were rushed to nearby hospitals from the incident site, and another 20 arrived at local hospitals on their own.

Alarmingly, three of these victims are listed in critical condition.

The violence occurred shortly after midnight during a block party in the Brooklyn Homes neighborhood, which is located in the southern part of Baltimore.

Baltimore’s Mayor, Brandon Scott (D), denounced the shooting as a “reckless cowardly act,” issuing a stern message to the yet unidentified suspect or suspects. He announced the city’s determination to find those responsible, adding, “We will not stop until we find you, and we will find you. Until then, I hope that every single breath you take, that you think about the lives that you took, think about the lives that you impacted here tonight.”

In an effort to move the investigation forward, officials are appealing to the community for any information related to the crime.
