(TheRedAlertNews.com) – BREAKING NOW: In a decision that will reverberate across the United States of America for years to come, the U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade.
The court’s decision is not totally unexpected due to the leak of a draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization back in May that showed a majority of the court in favor of reversing Roe.
Still, the reality of the final decision is sure to have ramifications in every state across the country as individual state legislatures and state courts grapple with whether or not to maintain the right to abortion that has been in existence now for a half-century under Roe.
In anticipation of the Dobb’s decision, several states have already passed laws outlawing abortion, even in cases of rape or incest.
In contrast, several others have codified the right to abortion beyond even what Roe allowed.
