Biden Just Cut Down By Key Democrat

Tim Ryan

( – Perhaps no United States Senate hopeful is more key to the Democrats’ attempt to hold onto control of the Senate than Tim Ryan. Ryan, a veteran member of the U.S. House of Representatives, is running against Republican J.D. Vance to win the open Senate seat of retiring Republican Rob Portman in Ohio.

Given that Ryan is so important to the Democrat Party, it is all the more newsworthy that he has come out strongly for someone other than Joe Biden to be the Democrats’ choice in the 2024 Presidential Election.

As the Daily Caller notes in Dem Senate Candidate Tim Ryan Says He Wants ‘New Leaders’ Instead Of Biden In 2024, “Democratic Senate candidate Tim Ryan said in an interview Thursday he thinks there needs to be “new leaders” when asked if President Joe Biden should run again in 2024.”

Specifically, when asked whether he thinks Biden should seek the presidency again in 2024, Ryan responded by saying, “My hunch is that we need new leadership across the board. I think it’s time for a generational move for new leaders on both sides. I think the environment politically across the country is poisonous and people I think want some change.”

When pushed on why he has not asked Biden to come to Ohio and campaign for him even though he and Biden agree on many Democrat priorities, Ryan listed areas where he and Biden disagree, telling WMFJ-TV, “He’s not being tough enough on China. We’re not going in enough on natural gas. I fight him on some of these things as well. On some of the border stuff, I think he’s made some big mistakes, I think we’ve got to be firmer on the border.”

Clearly, Tim Ryan is trying to win the open U.S. Senate seat in Ohio by cutting down the leader of his party, Joe Biden.
