Biden Shocks Climate Activists; Admits Trump Was Right

Donald Trump and Joe Biden

( – It took almost 15 months to the day, but President Joe Biden has finally admitted that former President Donald Trump was correct with his policy of — as Sarah Palin would say — “drill, baby, drill” when it comes to domestic oil and gas production.

Of course, Biden will not admit Trump was correct by saying so aloud.

Still, actions speak louder than words. And Biden’s actions of opening up more land for the oil and gas industry to drill is louder than any admission he could make in a speech.

On top of everything, the mainstream corporate media has had to acknowledge what Biden is doing.

As The Washington Post writes in, “Interior Department to resume oil and gas leasing“:

“As pressure increases on the Biden administration to lower the price of fuel, the Interior Department announced on Friday plans to hold its first onshore oil and gas lease sales since President Biden took office.

“The department said it plans to open roughly 144,000 acres up for lease next week…” [emphasis added]

And here’s no surprise — “climate activists” are angry:

“The Biden administration’s willingness to move forward with oil and gas leasing angered climate activists, who called the department’s plans a betrayal of the president’s pledge to ban new drilling on public lands.” [emphasis added]

Clearly, Biden has determined that the Democrats will lose more votes in November if they don’t allow more drilling than if he appeases the “climate activists” in his base.
