“Democrat President Joe Biden does not support “hardening schools” as a means of protecting children from mass shooters, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Monday.
“The comments from Jean-Pierre come after an 18-year-old Latino male murdered 19 children at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, last week.” [emphasis added]
Specifically, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre went on record about Biden’s view on school hardening from the White House Press Briefing Room, saying:
“‘I know there’s been conversation about hardening schools,’ she said. ‘That is not something that he believes in. He believes that we should be able to give teachers the resources to be able to do the job that they’re meant to do at schools.’” [emphasis added]
