(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a devastating critique of Kamala Harris, former UN Ambassador John Bolton blasted the Democrat candidate, stressing that her approach to foreign policy would essentially mirror President Joe Biden’s policies if she were to end up in the White House.
His assertion positions Harris’s potential presidency as an extension of the current administration’s diplomatic tactics, encapsulating this outlook with the phrase “like four more years” under Biden.
In the upcoming general election on November 5, Harris, the Democrat presidential nominee, is set to contest against Donald Trump, the Republican candidate.
This electoral matchup comes at a time when global and domestic issues are increasingly intertwined, making the candidates’ foreign policy stances more pivotal to voters than ever before.
Despite bypassing the primary contests, Harris secured her party’s nomination, a development that has prompted voters to probe deeply into her positions on key international conflicts.
These include her approaches to the ongoing military engagements in Ukraine following Russia’s aggressive maneuvers, and the tumultuous Israel-Hamas relations.
Bolton, who has been a vocal critic of his previous administration under Trump, expressed reservations about Harris’s capability to project American strength abroad, Newsmax reports.
In a conversation with John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM, he opined that the perception of American strength would diminish under Harris’s leadership, a sentiment captured by his comment that the US would appear “weak” during her administration.
Delving deeper, Bolton elaborated that Harris’s specific foreign policy agenda remains largely undefined, a sentiment reflected in his statement that it is an “open question.”
He further critiqued, as reported by The Hill, that “her administration would look like four more years of Biden, at least.”
“That’s, I think, the best prediction you can make at this point and … that would just expose us as weak and undependable around the world,” Bolton articulated, indicating his concerns about the global perception of U.S. resolve and consistency under Harris’s potential presidency.
In a broader commentary earlier in the month on CNN, Bolton dismissed the Democrat critiques labeling Trump as a “threat to democracy,” countering with a historical perspective that America “has survived a lot worse.”
Reiterating his critical stance, Bolton, in a subsequent appearance with Catsimatidis, condemned the Biden administration’s handling of the military withdrawal from Afghanistan.
He highlighted the tragic loss of 13 U.S. service members in a suicide bombing and suggested that such perceived missteps are signs of vulnerability that global adversaries, like Russian President Vladimir Putin, could exploit.
