BOMBSHELL: ‘$200 Million for Each and Every African American’

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – A leftist activist demanded slavery reparations of an insane amount totaling “$200 million for each and every African American” during the latest session of California’s Reparations Task Force.

The demand by the activist named Rev. Tony Pierce came as the task force approved a proposal for slavery reparations for black Californians, recommending a combined total of $800 billion, Breitbart News reported.

The recommended total is over twice the annual budget of America’s most populous state.

The advisory body’s recommendations for reparation payments were due to the California legislature by July 1.

Besides the $800 billion in reparations, the nine-member panel has recommended a formal apology by the government of California, which was never a slave state.

The task force, which further recommended “cash down payments” to those eligible for slavery reparations, was set up by Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis in 2020.

Thus, Fox News reports that if the state legislature approves its recommendations, any black resident over 71 will receive more than $1.2 million in reparations.

“These estimates include, for example, losing $2,352 per person per year of California residence for the over-policing of Black communities, $3,366 per person per year of residence for “discriminatory lending and zoning,” $13,619 per person per year of residence for “injustices and discrimination in health” and $77,000 per person for Black-owned business losses and devaluations,” reported Aaron Kliegman of Fox News.

According to California Justice Department officials, the state reparations task force was not instructed to come up with funding sources for the reparations, only to estimate their scope.

Earlier this year, a separate reparations committee for the city of San Francisco recommended that every black resident of the Golden Gate City be granted $5 million.

Even these recommendations seem insufficient to activists such as Rev. Tony Pierce, who accused the California task force of being too timid and afraid to get black people what they “deserve,” namely, $200 million each.

“You know that the numbers should be equivocal to what an acre was back then. We were given 40, OK? We were given 40 acres. You know what that number is. You keep trying to talk about now, yet you research back to slavery, and you say nothing about slavery, nothing,” Pierce told the task force meeting.

“So, the equivocal number from the 1860s for 40 acres to today is $200 million for each and every African-American,” he declared.

His demand was supported by Elaine Brown, a former chairwoman of the Black Panther Party, who urged mass street demonstrations with demands for high reparations.
