Breaking: Did Trump Want Mike Pence Killed?

( – One of the most explosive and disputed reports that came on January 6th during the riot that took place at the United States Capitol Complex in Washington, DC, was that a group of protesters had constructed a gallows on the grounds just outside the Capitol and was chanting, “Hang Mike Pence, Hang Mike Pence” over and over while others were reportedly trying to locate where the Vice President was hiding inside the Capitol so they could drag him outside to the gallows.

Now, in an exclusive interview of former President Donald J. Trump conducted by ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent and obtained by Axios, Trump defends the anger of those who were allegedly seeking to kill Pence on that January afternoon in an attempt to stop the congressional certification of the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

You can listen to that portion of Trump speaking passionately to Karl for yourself and decide Trump’s meaning by clicking on the tweet below or clicking HERE.

As you’ll hear, after Karl asks Trump a series of questions about whether Trump was concerned about Pence’s safety, he says to Trump, “They were saying ‘hang Mike Pence.'”

Trump responds: “Because it’s common sense, Jon. It’s common sense that you’re supposed to protect. How can you — if you know a vote is fraudulent, right? — how can you pass on a fraudulent vote to Congress? How can you do that? And I’m telling you: 50/50, it’s right down the middle for the top constitutional scholars when I speak to them. Anybody I spoke to — almost all of them at least pretty much agree, and some very much agree with me — because he’s passing on a vote that he knows is fraudulent. How can you pass a vote that you know is fraudulent?

Trump then goes on in great detail about why he believes Pence was wrong and should have stopped the certification of the election.

What do you think? Do you agree or disagree with Trump?
