(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Breaking Now: A massive search has been launched by the courageous men and women of the United States Coast Guard.
According to a report from U.S. Coast Guard District 7, a Good Samaritan rescued a man clinging to an overturned boat approximately 45 miles from the coast of Florida.
The rescued survivor told the Coast Guard that there were 39 other individuals on the capsized vessel.
Reportedly, none of the individuals were wearing lifejackets.
The Coast Guard immediately launched air and sea rescue apparatus.
According to local news sources in Florida, “The boat was coming from the Bahamas, and a survivor said the boat capsized when it encountered severe weather.” Further, “The Coast Guard says it is likely a human smuggling venture.”
