(TheRedAlertNews.com) As the congressional hearings looking into the Biden Administration’s retreat from Afghanistan continue today in the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), who is a retired United States Navy rear admiral and served as Physician to the President from 2013 to 2018 under Barack Obama and Donald Trump, charged General Mark Milley, the current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, with “dereliction of duty” and asked if he will resign his post. The critical exchange between Jackson and Milley went down as follows:
Jackson (reading from a prepared script): I submit to you, sir, that you should resign because of your dereliction of duty to this country and your inability to do your job to protect this country. It has become abundantly clear that the American people have completely lost confidence in your ability to do your job. General Milley, will you now resign.
Milley: I serve at the pleasure of the President, Mr. Jackson.
