(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In yet another case exposing today’s tyranny of the leftist ideology of transgenderism over Christianity, a committed Christian teacher at a Church of Ireland boarding school has been incarcerated for the third instance on Monday for defying a judicial order.
Enoch Burke, the teacher in question, known for his open resistance to the “hellish ideology of transgenderism,” as he calls it, breached a court-enforced injunction mandating him to refrain from visiting Wilson’s Hospital School in Heathland, situated approximately 55 miles northwest of Dublin.
As a consequence, he was remanded to Mountjoy Prison, according to a report by The Irish Times.
A judicial review of his case has been scheduled for October 11, Newsmax reports.
During the court proceedings, Burke expressed his conviction that the judge would ultimately have to justify to God the decision to imprison someone due to their religious convictions.
He asserted that he was mandated by the school’s erstwhile principal to “force transgenderism on students.”
The school, for its part, articulated that Burke had been present at the institution every school day since August 22, which it described as “disruptive” to both the faculty and student body.
In August 2022, Burke was initially suspended by the school after he objected to using a student’s newly chosen name and the pronoun “they,” reflecting the student’s transition.
Despite his suspension, Burke persistently attended the school. Subsequently, a judge issued an injunction in favor of the school.
Burke first contravened this injunction in September 2022, resulting in a 100-day incarceration before his release, as noted by The Irish Times.
He resumed his attendance at the school post-Christmas break, prompting the court to levy a daily fine of 700 euros.
He infringed upon the court order once more in September 2023 and was incarcerated until June.
Although the court offered release contingent upon his promise to comply with the order and avoid the school premises, Burke refused.
By January 2023, Burke was formally dismissed by the school; however, he has since appealed this decision and remains on the payroll as a staff member.
Upon his arrest on the school premises on Monday afternoon, Burke was taken to court that evening, accompanied by his family, including his parents Sean and Martina Burke.
He reiterated his stance, declaring his imprisonment was due to his rejection of “the hellish ideology of transgenderism.”
Further emphasizing his perspective, Burke contended that the school had infringed upon his Christian rights when it “commanded” him to refer to a male student as “they.”
He referenced texts from the book of Genesis and the gospel according to Saint Matthew to reinforce his religious views on gender.
