(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Happening Now: One reality became clear as election results came in across the country last night. Besides the candidates who won their races, the other big victor was former President Donald J. Trump. Almost every candidate he endorsed won.
The most significant victory scored propelled by a Trump endorsement was that of J.D. Vance. Trump recently endorsed Vance and rallied for him even though Vance had been anti-Trump until deciding to run for the open United States Senate seat in Ohio following the announcement by Senator Rob Portman that he would not run for reelection this year.
As Yahoo News notes:
“J.D. Vance won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in Ohio on Tuesday, emerging from a crowded field with the help of a late endorsement from former President Trump to win with roughly a third of the total vote…
“Vance, the author of the bestselling memoir “Hillbilly Elegy” and a former venture capitalist, surged to the lead in the GOP primary over the last two weeks, fueled by a Trump endorsement in mid-April. Vance had been stuck in third place prior to receiving Trump’s backing.”
And Vance wasn’t the only candidate who crossed the finish one in first place, having been endorsed by Trump. He was just the most prominent name and most-watched race of many.
So, according to several political analysts reviewing last night’s results across the country, Trump’s political brand remains strong as the United States heads toward the November midterm elections that will determine the fate of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives for the final two years of President Joe Biden’s first term as President of the United States.
