(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a new loss for Joe Biden and win for the nation, the lame-duck president’s radical Muslim nominee to the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Adeel Mangi, has been withdrawn following a contentious debate that left Senate Democrats divided and law enforcement officials concerned.

Mangi’s alleged ties to organizations criticized for anti-police rhetoric and his potential to become the first Muslim federal appellate judge fueled opposition.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s decision to withdraw Adeel Mangi’s nomination to the Third Circuit Court was a result of opposition from within his own party and law enforcement groups.

Several Senate Democrats, notably Catherine Cortez Masto, Jacky Rosen, and Joe Manchin, opposed the nomination due to Mangi’s controversial affiliations.

The controversy centered on Mangi’s involvement with organizations perceived as anti-police and anti-Israel.

His ties to the Rutgers Center for Security, Race, and Rights and the Alliance of Families for Justice, which supports individuals accused of killing police officers, drew significant backlash.

Emily Flower, a spokeswoman for Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans, stated, “Adeel Mangi is simply too radical to be confirmed to a lifetime seat on the bench.”

Schumer’s compromise with Republicans to drop Mangi’s nomination in exchange for confirming a dozen Biden district court nominees reflects strategic political maneuvering.

This deal not only abandoned Mangi but also sacrificed the nominations of Ryan Park, Karla Campbell, and Julia Lipez for appellate positions.

“Mr. Mangi’s affiliation with the Alliance of Families for Justice is deeply concerning. My concern is with respect to the organization that supports individuals who kill police officers,” declared Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), cited by The Washington Free Beacon.

The withdrawal has profound implications, as it opens the door for President-elect Donald Trump to fill appellate court positions when he assumes office.

Schumer’s agreement with Republicans highlights political priorities over radical appointments and signals a shift towards more conservative judicial leadership.

Despite the controversies, the White House and Schumer’s office have remained silent on Mangi’s nomination withdrawal.

This silence only compounds the public questioning of the motivations behind such nominations and whether Biden’s judicial appointments reflect the values of American patriots.

Law enforcement organizations, including the Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police, have expressed relief at Mangi’s withdrawal, asserting that his potential confirmation would have been an insult to officers nationwide.

“It’s an affront to all Pennsylvania law enforcement officers, active and retired,” the groups declared in a letter to Senate Leadership.

This situation serves as a reminder that judicial appointments with murky affiliations cannot escape public scrutiny.
