HUGE: RFK Jr To Address the Nation

ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR.

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In what seems poised to become one of the most crucial events in the 2024 presidential contest, independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is going to address the nation on Friday when he is expected to announce quitting the race and likely endorsing Donald Trump.

Kennedy’s upcoming address was declared in a campaign announcement on Wednesday, cited by The New York Post.

This announcement came a day after his vice-presidential choice, Nicole Shanahan, disclosed on a podcast that they were contemplating aligning with former President Donald Trump.

Trump, who is 78 years old, is scheduled to hold a rally in Glendale, Arizona, which is approximately 30 minutes away by car from where Kennedy will be speaking.

“Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will address the nation live on Friday about the present historical moment and his path forward,” the statement from Kennedy’s campaign conveyed, though details were sparse.

Shanahan expressed on the “Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu” podcast that they were considering two strategic directions.

One option would involve remaining in the race and attempting to establish a new political party, which could inadvertently aid a Kamala Harris and [Tim] Walz presidency by dividing Trump’s voter base.

“There’s two options that we’re looking at, and one is staying in, forming that new party, but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and [Tim] Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump,” she stated.

Alternatively, she suggested, “We walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump … and we explain to our base why we’re making this decision.”

These comments led to widespread conjecture regarding Kennedy’s ongoing participation in the 2024 presidential contest.

The timing of Kennedy’s and Trump’s public appearances has also been noted; Kennedy is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. ET in Phoenix, with Trump’s rally in nearby Glendale starting at 6 p.m. ET.

Following Shanahan’s announcement, Trump expressed openness to involving Kennedy in his administration if he chooses to withdraw from the race.

“I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I’d be open to it,” he remarked to CNN, adding, “I like him, and I respect him. He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. I’ve known him for a very long time.”

Previously, Trump had made efforts to encourage Kennedy to exit the race, particularly evident in a recently leaked video of a phone conversation where Trump sought Kennedy’s withdrawal.

“Anyway, I would love you to do something and I think it would be so good for you, and so big for you. And we’re going to win,” Trump said during the call.
