“Presidential son Hunter Biden will lecture students about the U.S. media and ‘fake news’ as a guest speaker at Tulane University in New Orleans,” according to The Washington Times. [emphasis added]
“Mr. Biden, the 51-year-old son of President Biden, is one of nine guests slated to speak at the private university in New Orleans during a 10-week course this fall, titled, ‘Media Polarization and Public Policy Impacts.’
“‘America’s rapidly advancing partisan divide is fueled substantially by the growing political polarization increasingly evident in our news media,’ reads the course description, according to an email sent by Leigh Butler, the university’s executive secretary for interdisciplinary programs, Campus Reform reported. ‘This course will explore the current state of the media landscape in the United States and how media polarization, fake news and the economics of the news business impact public policymaking in Washington, DC.’…
“The younger Biden faced scrutiny during the 2020 presidential campaign over his business dealings in Ukraine and China while his father was still vice president under former President Barack Obama. An abandoned laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter included emails detailing those business dealings, the New York Post first reported in October…
“Hunter Biden, a recovering addict, said earlier this month he doesn’t remember anything about the laptop but that it’s a ‘red herring” being used against his family.'”
