Is This the End of MSNBC?!

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In great news for American patriots who despise leftist propaganda, MSNBC is reeling from a post-election blow as nearly half of its viewers have switched off, revealing the flagship network’s inability to sustain interest without the constant political drama.

Amid the network’s struggles, Fox News has surged ahead, and liberal audiences are left seeking alternatives.

MSNBC’s decline is undeniable, with a staggering drop of 50.7% in prime-time viewership since the election.

The network saw its total audience reduced to near half, struggling to maintain its grip on liberal viewers.

Meanwhile, Fox News capitalized on the opportunity, posting a 24.4% rise in viewers.

The impact goes beyond just numbers. Shows like “Morning Joe” suffered considerably, experiencing a 38% decrease right after the hosts’ visit to Mar-a-Lago for a conversation with Donald Trump.

Liberal voters appear disinterested in being reminded continuously about the political battles, opting to unplug and find solace elsewhere, reports leftist news site The Daily Beast.

“MSNBC’s audience has tanked since the election. The liberal network’s viewership is down by 47 percent overall since Nov. 5 and by 52 percent during primetime, the latest Nielsen ratings show,” it writes further.

But the challenges don’t end there. Comcast, MSNBC’s parent company, has announced plans to spin off its cable networks, including MSNBC, into a new entity called SpinCo.

This move raises questions about the network’s future amidst potential layoffs due to declining ratings and high salaries.

Despite the bleak outlook, MSNBC reportedly anticipated some post-election viewership drop, expecting numbers to rise following Trump’s inauguration.

However, whether the network can recover remains uncertain given the viewers’ apparent fatigue.

“We could all be fired a year from now,” said host Joe Scarborough, cited by The New York Post.

Elon Musk, known for his interest in media ventures, has even joked about buying MSNBC, sharing humorous memes about the network’s situation.

This sentiment underscores the seriousness of MSNBC’s struggles as audiences shift elsewhere, potentially altering the media landscape.
