(TheRedAlertNews.com) – While the mainstream corporate media is totally focused on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, many other important national security issues are receiving scant attention.
At the top of the list of national security threats that have all but disappeared from media coverage is the ongoing explosion of illegal aliens crossing into the United States of America from Mexico.
Now, as United States Representative Lauren Boebert, a Colorado Republican, notes in a tweet today, a new report issued by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement division of the Department of Homeland Security finds that under the presidential administration of Joe Biden, deportations of illegal aliens have dropped to the lowest level in more than a quarter of a century.
As Fox News notes in “Deportations fell to 26-year low last year, ICE report reveals“:
“Deportations of illegal immigrants by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plunged to their lowest level in nearly three decades last year amid the ongoing migration crisis at the US-Mexico border, the agency’s annual report revealed Friday…
“In addition, the ICE report revealed the number of so-called “administrative arrests,” which take place in the US interior, dropped 28.5 percent in fiscal year 2021 from the same 12-month period in 2020.” [emphasis added]
And, for those who believe all illegal immigrants are just good folks looking for jobs in America:
“According to the report, among the deportees were 34 ‘known or suspected terrorists.'” [emphasis added]
Summing up her concerns, Congresswoman Boebert tweeted, “It’s clear – we’ve got an open border.”
