New York City Overwhelmed by THIS!?!

( – In a shocking development, almost half of all existing hotel rooms in New York City are occupied by illegal aliens whose accommodation there is rent-free and covered by the local taxpayers, according to Democrat Mayor Eric Adams.

Almost 70,000 border jumpers and illegal aliens have flocked to NYC, which bills itself as a “sanctuary city” defying US immigration law.

Many of them have been bused there by Texas’ GOP Governor Greg Abbott, Breitbart News explains in a report.

Their number represents a small share of the over 6 million illegal immigrants who have invaded the United States since Joe Biden occupied the White House in January 2021.

That number includes close to 2 million gotaways and another over 2 million who have been released inside the United States.

The report notes that NYC Mayor Adams has been handing out “lucrative contracts” to the real estate business in the city, which is now providing accommodation in hotels to tens of thousands of foreign migrants.

Thus, in the most recent case, New York’s residents were saddled with an annual $75 million bill for accommodating illegal immigrants in the “iconic” Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan.

As he announced that New York City’s hotels are half filled up with border jumpers, Adams described illegal immigration as an “     onslaught” with which the authorities were struggling to cope.

He insisted President Joe Biden settle new illegal migrants in communities throughout the United States.

“Almost 50 percent of those hotel rooms are taken up by migrant asylum seekers that we are paying for,” Adams declared.

“So instead of monies coming from people who are visiting us and spending in our tourism, in our Broadway plays, instead of them using those hotels, we are using those hotels,” he added.

The leftist mayor revealed New Yorkers were paying $5 million daily to deal with illegal immigration. Thus, when lost tourism income is added, the city’s losses from illegal immigrants exceed $4.3 billion.

“When I take a hotel offline and use it for migrants, then we are not getting those residual impacts. So there’s the $4.3 [billion], which is going to be higher, I believe,” Adams stated.

He earlier disclosed that 4,200 border jumpers arrived in New York City last week, with over 900 arriving in one day.

In his words, there were between 13 and 15 buses with illegal immigrants coming to NYC last time.
