(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In an outrageous act of censorship, “woke” retailer Target has refused to sell a book by the extremely popular conservative pundit Mark Levin. Levin’s new book, “The Democrat Party Hates America,” has already reached the No. 1 spot on Amazon’s bestseller list.
Even before its official release on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Levin’s book overtook several favorites for the top Amazon stop, Breitbart News reports.
Those include Oprah’s new self-help book, Stephen King’s latest novel, and an Elon Musk biography by Walter Isaacson.
Target, which suffered a consumer boycott in the spring over its promotion of transgenderist clothing, informed Levin’s publisher, Simon & Shuster, as early as July that it would not carry his book. This led the conservative author to urge readers to pre-order the book.
“[Target] claims that certain customers might be offended by the title. Imagine that! So, the corporatist leftwing censorship begins. Let’s send a big message and drive pre-order sales way up on Amazon’s list,” Levin called at the time.
According to the book’s description, “The Democrat Party Hates America” exposes “the radically dangerous Democrat agenda that is upending American life.”
“This book is like none I’ve written and none anyone has read. The Democrat Party is an autocratic party that has never embraced Americanism. And today it’s destroying our culture, Constitution, voting system, educational system, citizenship, law and order, and more. It is an evil and poisonous party and always has been,” Levin told Breitbart ahead of the release.
He said his book exposed the Democrats’ “lies and propaganda” from the past century as the left sought to turn the United States into “a one-party tyranny.”
“Insightful and hard-hitting as ever, Levin proves that since its establishment, the Democrat Party has set out to rewrite history and destroy the foundation of freedom in America. More than a political party, it is the entity through which Marxism has installed its philosophy and its new revolution,” the book description says.
“Every legal, legitimate, and appropriate tool and method must be employed in the short-and long-run to defeat the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party must be resoundingly conquered in the next election and several elections thereafter, or it will become extremely difficult to undo the damage it is unleashing at breakneck pace,” Levin states in an excerpt from the book.
