Pro-Abortion Demonstrators Descend on Homes of Supreme Court Justices

Protest at Justice Kavanaugh's Home

( – Over the weekend, with even more intensity than expected, pro-abortion demonstrators showed up at the homes of several United States Supreme Court Justices to protest what they believe will be the overturning of Roe v. Wade when the Court issues its final decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

In two instances, pro-abortion demonstrators marched to the homes of Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh on Saturday night for candlelight “vigils” for Roe v. Wade.

The protesters gathered at a café in Chevy Chase, Maryland, before marching to the homes of the justices. There they protested outside the houses for “reproductive freedom.”

The crowd chanted “keep abortion safe and legal” during the protest.

Based on announcements from several pro-abortion groups, the protests will continue today and for the foreseeable future.

For example, according to ShutDown DC, a leftist organization, demonstrators will hold a protest at Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s house on Monday, May 9th. ShutDown DC issues a statement saying:

“The evening of Monday, May 9, we will hold a vigil for all these rights that Alito is threatening to take away. Because it’s been impossible to reach him at the Supreme Court (especially now with the enormous fences), we will do it at his home. At 7:30 pm we will gather at a nearby location and walk together to his house. At the foot of his driveway, on the public street, we will light candles and speakers will share their testimony. We will hold a moment of silence for the rights we know are ours, then walk back together to the meeting location.”
