(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a giant new threat to the nation’s safety, the Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang’s expansion from Venezuela into American territory has led the U.S. authorities to flag over 600 illegal immigrants as connected to the vicious criminal group.

With TDA linked to heinous crimes such as human smuggling and violent acts in various states, it’s time for decisive government action to protect our homeland.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has flagged over 600 migrants in the U.S. with potential ties to TDA, a powerful Venezuelan criminal organization.
An alarming 100 of these individuals are confirmed members and have been recommended for the FBI watchlist.
Yet, fewer than 30 remain in custody, leaving hundreds possibly roaming free.
The gang’s influence extends across 15 states, with a possible presence in eight others.
Their illicit activities, including sex trafficking and violent assaults, aggravate public safety concerns.
New York has seen its fair share of disruption, with TDA members involved in armed robberies and shootings, causing local officials to take action.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has launched over 140 investigations targeting TDA for human smuggling offenses.
Since 2022, over 100 gang affiliates have been apprehended. However, Venezuela’s refusal to share criminal records complicates the identification process, proving the need for more stringent border control.
“DHS has an ongoing operation to crack down on gang members through re-screening certain individuals previously encountered, in addition to the rigorous screening and vetting at the border,” a DHS spokesperson has said.
Amidst this troubling expansion, the financial cost of the migrant crisis continues to climb. The U.S. spent $150 billion in 2023 managing migrants, with $67 billion in federal spending for essentials like education and law enforcement.
New York City’s welcoming policy costs city agencies, forcing budget cuts elsewhere.
New York’s National Guard now screens migrants for TDA-related tattoos, a proactive yet reactive measure.
With recent arrests and tense public safety concerns, it’s crucial for national forces to focus on preventing these dangerous networks from wreaking havoc.
“Most gang experts would say that TDA is not yet exhibiting signs of sophistication and advanced organization within the United States,” commented Frank Figliuzzi, a former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence, in an NBC News interview.
Over 600 illegal migrants have been found in the U.S. and have ties to Tren de Aragua, a transnational crime organization from Venezuela.
I've been talking about this violent gang for months. Flashback to what I said in September👇pic.twitter.com/mSevyZzEBS
