Many observers believed it was inevitable that schools would start mandating COVID-19 vaccines, and it is now happening.
“Los Angeles became the first major school district in the United States to require COVID-19 vaccinations for all students ages 12 and up,” according to the New York Post. [emphasis added]
“The Los Angeles Unified School District, the nation’s second-largest system, approved the mandate in a unanimous vote during a special Thursday Board of Education meeting.
“’It’s about the collective good,’ board President Kelly Gonez said prior to the vote. ‘It’s about what’s best for the community as a whole and sometimes that necessitates challenging decisions.’…
“Only those with ‘qualified and approved exemptions and conditions’ won’t be required to get vaccinated.” [emphasis added]
