Ted Cruz Slams Hypocrite Media

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX)

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – On Tuesday, during a press conference attended by several Republican Senators, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) frustratedly slammed his fists on the podium when a reporter asked him why senators chose not to wear masks.

At the end of a press conference called to discuss the Democrats’ attempts to remove the filibuster, a reporter queried why Cruz and other present Republican Senators did not wear masks. In response, Cruz quickly pointed out how one-sided these questions were.

The muffled reporter queried the “glaring visual” between unmasked Senators and the room full of masked reporters, as “Covid is going around.”

In response, Cruz emphasized the “wild hypocrisy from the Biden administration when it comes to Covid policies” before drawing attention to Biden’s mask mandates for those who were vaccinated, highlighting that Fauci had rescinded earlier statements in which he said those who had been vaccinated would not need to wear masks, saying that everyone there had been “double vaccinated” and boosted.

He quickly became frustrated as he said that “at some point, the American people ought to be able to exercise their own freedom and make their decision.”

Cruz continued his rebuttal highlighting how Democrats weren’t asked the same questions, expressing his frustration by saying, “just once, I’d like to see a reporter say to Joe Biden when he stands at the damn podium in the White House without a mask, ‘Mr. President, why aren’t you wearing a mask?’” He continued his heated reaction by referencing White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, saying he’d like to see reporters ask her –– while she stood at the podium maskless –– why she wasn’t wearing a mask while she was at the podium.

He ended by saying that “the questions are only directed at one side, and I got to say that the American people see the hypocrisy.”
