(TheRedAlertNews.com) – HAPPENING NOW: In a move that may have saved Joe Biden from an assassin’s bullet, former President Donald Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, informed the FBI in March about threats made against Biden by a Utah resident, Craig Deleeuw Robertson.
As per NBC News, FBI agents fatally shot Robertson during an attempted arrest on Wednesday after he again threatened to assassinate Biden.
The alert to the FBI came after Robertson posted a threat against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. on Truth Social, as disclosed by a senior law enforcement officer to NBC.
Bragg is handling a case against Trump, accusing him of fabricating business documents related to a 2016 confidential payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
On Wednesday morning, FBI agents approached Robertson, 75, at his Provo residence.
According to a senior official who spoke to NBC, Robertson, armed at the time, aimed his gun at the agents and did not heed their orders, which led to them shooting him fatally. The agents intended to detain him based on a federal accusation that he had issued death threats against President Biden, Bragg, and the FBI agents themselves.
The shooting occurred a few hours before Biden visited Utah.
In a recent social media post, Robertson stated, “I heard Biden is coming to Utah.” He also mentioned that he was preparing his “M24 Sniper Rifle.”
An FBI complaint described Robertson as a white individual aged around “70-75 years old”, who was seen “wearing a dark suit (later observed as having an AR-15 style rifle lapel pin attached), a white shirt, a red tie, and a multi-colored (possibly camouflage) hat with the word ‘TRUMP’ displayed.”
The FBI’s Inspection Division is investigating his death.
Per the complaint, a social media platform alerted the FBI National Threat Operations Center on March 19 about a threat to Bragg. The complaint cites the threat was issued by the username @winston4eagles, though it does not specify the platform.
The complaint narrated that two FBI agents visited Robertson’s home the same day after observing him drive to a church. On being questioned about his statement on Truth Social, Robertson’s reply was, “I said it was a dream … We’re done here! Don’t return without a warrant.”
Further inquiries revealed Robertson, a firearm owner, had directed “multiple threats” towards various government figures, including Vice President Kamala Harris, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, and New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has a lawsuit against Trump and his property business for alleged extensive fraud.
