(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Donald Trump has stayed defiant in the face of Democrat-led prosecutions against him, declaring he would “proudly” present himself to be arrested at a jail in Fulton County, Georgia, on Thursday.
Trump is due to be detained, processed, and then released on a $200,000 bond after on August 14, in the fourth Democrat-led indictment against him, he and 18 others were charged with “racketeering” and conspiring to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.
On Wednesday, 24 hours before his courtroom date, the 45th president of the United States took to Truth Social to state he would turn himself in Fulton County and do so with pride, as cited by Breitbart News.
“NOBODY HAS EVER FOUGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP. FOR DOING SO, I WILL PROUDLY BE ARRESTED TOMORROW AFTERNOON IN GEORGIA. GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!” he wrote.
Trump and his co-defendants were given August 25, Friday, at noon as the deadline to present themselves for booking.
“He remains unbowed by a series of criminal charges against him, as polls show him solidifying his lead against the field of GOP presidential rivals,” The Washington Times comments in a report.
Trump will likely travel to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, for “a carefully arranged booking in the evening.”
Two other high-profile defendants in the case led by Democrat Fulton County DA Fani Willis turned themselves in – former New York City Mayor and Trump associate Rudy Giuliani and former Trump lawyer Sidney Powell.
At least four others of the 19 charged in the case have also presented themselves for booking and are arranging bonds and release conditions, The Times reports.
In another social media post, the former president indicated he would never renounce his voter fraud suspicions for the 2020 election.
“For those RINOS, Radical Left Democrats, Communists, Marxists, Fascists, & others who say, ‘Don’t Look Back, Look Forward,’ they either do not want to reveal the answers because they ‘got away with murder,’ or are FOOLS & COWARDS because we now know the answers to all of the Fraud, Irregularities, & Cheating, & WE CANNOT LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN!” Trump wrote.
