Trump Jr. Launches Second Amendment Task Force

Donald Trump Jr.

( – According to a report by Fox News Digital, Donald Trump Jr. will be launching a new gun rights group to combat Democratic gun control efforts.

The report reveals that Trump Jr. will launch the Second Amendment Task Force, where he’ll serve as chairman.

In a statement about The Second Amendment Task Force, Trump Jr. says the group is “entirely devoted to ensuring the Left is never successful in disarming American citizens,” after emphasizing that “The Second Amendment is the whole ballgame; it’s the freedom that protects all of our other freedoms.”

In the statement, Trump Jr. also accused the Biden administration of being “hellbent on eroding our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms, whether it’s nominating radical gun-grabbers to senior positions in the executive branch or pushing anti-gun legislation.”

The Task Force will be Trump Jr.’s first advocacy group that he’s launched and had direct involvement in.

Trump Jr. attributes the decision to launch the group to successfully rallying opposition against David Chipman, President Joe Biden’s controversial nominee to lead the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).

“The idea for the group came from our successful effort to stop a radical anti-gun lobbyist from becoming the head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives,” Trump Jr. said in a statement.

The group has also revealed that it will focus on the upcoming midterms, especially voter registration.
