(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In perfectly justified criticism, Donald Trump has slammed the Biden administration for auctioning off unused border wall materials, calling it “almost a criminal act.”

He argues that this sale significantly weakens national security, undoing one of his administration’s core achievements.

Donald Trump criticized President Biden for selling off unused border wall materials at bargain prices.

These materials, initially intended for the construction of 200 miles of the border wall, are being sold via platforms like GovPlanet, with starting bids as low as $5.

Trump expressed frustration, labeling the sales as a direct threat to national security and accusing buyers of planning to resell these materials at inflated prices.

In Arizona, footage has shown slabs being removed, and Texas leaders, including Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Gov. Greg Abbott, are investigating these activities.

Patrick remarked that most of the materials were in poor condition, with panels covered in concrete and rust, questioning their usability.

President Biden halted the border wall construction upon taking office, though some sections in Texas have since recommenced.

Trump insisted that their decision to auction off remaining materials indicates either negligence or malice.

Despite the lack of comment from the White House, congressional Republicans are sounding the alarm on the potential political fallout.

“The Biden admin is auctioning off unused border wall materials for pennies on the dollar—treating our national security as if it’s a yard sale. This isn’t just a fight against the incoming president—it’s a fight against the American people,” Patrick stated.

The Department of Defense, bound by Section 2890 of the National Defense Authorization Act, maintains that selling the materials is a cost-saving measure.

The intent is to reduce expenses related to storage and upkeep.

The Biden administration handled 60% of the supplies to Customs and Border Protection and eligible states, leaving around 40% for sale.

Trump claims this decision increases the future cost of rebuilding, potentially doubling from prior costs because “it’s very expensive now.”

Additionally, he is communicating with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Republican Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn about possible legal actions to halt this sale.

“I’m asking today, Joe Biden, to please stop selling the wall,” Donald Trump declared, cited by The New York Post.

This auction of border wall materials is not just about budgetary decisions; it’s about the sanctity of national security.

Whether ulterior motives exist or simply a misunderstanding of priorities, it invites serious scrutiny.
