Trump: ‘To Drain the Swamp We Need to Fire the Swamp’

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Former President Donald Trump has vowed to clean up the federal government of the “deep state” — which he also calls “the swamp” – by “firing the swamp” if he is elected president again.

Trump gave an impassioned speech before thousands of Republican supporters Saturday night at the Student Action Summit of Turning Point USA in Tampa, Florida.

You can watch a video clip from the speech further down this post.

During his speech, he exposed what he believes are the failures of the Biden administration and the Democrats. He lauded Americans’ will to fight for freedom, democracy, and prosperity against the attempt of the left to dominate the nation.

“We will not break. We will not yield. We will never give in. We will never give up. We will never ever, ever back down. As long as we are confident and united, the tyrants we are fighting do not stand a chance. Because we are Americans, and Americans kneel to God, and God alone,” Trump declared.

In speech remarks leaked online by Breitbart News ahead of Saturday night’s address, Trump emphasized the Schedule F Executive Order, which he signed shortly before leaving the White House in January 2021.

The policy provided for an easier termination of government bureaucrats to root out the manipulative influence of unelected officials.

Like many other of Trump’s policies, Schedule F was rescinded by his successor, President Joe Biden, shortly after Biden took office. So the policy designed to reign in the deep state and bureaucracy was never really implemented.

“To drain the swamp, we need to fire the swamp. With schedule F, I took executive action to make it possible to fire federal employees who are bypassing our democracy to advance wokeism and corruption,” read the comments by the 45th President of the United States.

“We now need Congress to institute historic reforms to permanently empower the President to root out the Deep State and ensure that any bureaucrat who is corrupt, incompetent, or unnecessary can be told, ‘You’re fired,’” Trump’s remarks asserted.

His new comments on Schedule F came a day after Axios claimed in a report that if Trump gets elected president again in 2024, he will fire 50,000 bureaucrats from the federal government precisely based on his Schedule F executive order.
