Trump Will Pay Illegals $1000 to Do THIS?!

Donald Trump at a rally with supporters.

In a shrewd new initiative, the Trump administration has introduced a new program to incentivize illegal aliens to voluntarily leave the U.S. with a $1,000 payout, showcasing a bold and non-coercive approach to addressing the issue of illegal immigration.

This effort not only aims to reduce the costs associated with deportation but also aligns with President Trump’s longstanding commitment to conservative values of law and order.

The program is spearheaded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and involves utilizing the CBP Home app, where illegal immigrants can register their intent to return to their home countries.

By focusing on motivated self-deportation instead of forceful removal, the initiative promises a more humane and organized process.

Furthermore, individuals participating in the program will be deprioritized for detention and removal, alleviating some of their immediate concerns.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem stated, “If you are here illegally, self-deportation is the best, safest, and most cost-effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest,” cited by The Guardian.

The financial incentive is issued after participants confirm their return via the app, ensuring only genuine departures merit the payment.

This smart strategy could see a significant reduction in taxpayer expenses, as deportation costs currently average $17,121 per person.

The CBP Home app stems from the Biden administration’s CBPOne app, initially designed for asylum applications at the US-Mexico border.

This program represents a continuity in leveraging technology to manage border-related issues effectively.

Already, at least one individual’s journey back to Honduras has been successfully facilitated under this initiative.

Critics, such as Aaron Reichlin-Melnick from the American Immigration Council, argue that this approach could be unkind and misleading.

He contends it might damage the participants’ legal standings upon their departure, despite assurances offered by DHS.

Nevertheless, the administration intends the program to act as a bridge for potential future legal re-entry and believes it upholds the principles of justice and compassion.

“It is an incredibly cruel bit of deception for DHS to be telling people that if they leave they ‘will maintain the ability to return to the US legally in the future’,” Reichlin-Melnick said.

This initiative is merely one facet of Trump’s broader strategy to fortify immigration enforcement. Alongside incentivizing self-deportation, the administration is actively seeking additional resources from Congress to bolster Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.

The hope is that this multi-pronged approach will resonate with the patriotic call for upholding national laws.
