(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a move that has stunned many of her socialist supporters, far-left extremist US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has endorsed President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, after in recent months she condemned the House Republicans’ investigations into the Bidens’ foreign business ventures.

Her endorsement of Biden during a recent episode of the far-left podcast “Pod Save America” means the Marxist radical has moved “further into the [Democrat] establishment apparatus,” Breitbart News observes.
“I believe, given that field, yes,” AOC said when asked if she would endorse Joe Biden for reelection.
Besides the president as the presumptive 2024 Democratic Party nominee, the field features only environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and self-help writer Marianne Williamson.
“I think he’s done quite well, given the limitations that we have. I do think that there are ebbs and flows,” Ocasio-Cortez commented regarding Biden.
The report points out that her endorsement of the president might not be surprising but is remarkable because until not long ago, AOC presented herself as an outsider of the Washington, DC, political elites, supposedly revolting against their agenda.
“But as time passed, she changed her tune and began defending top members of the elite,” Breitbart comments.
“The same person who spent her career lamenting about how she was ‘born in a place where your ZIP code determines your destiny,’ and the evils of ‘lobbyists’ money; is now serving the quintessential ‘my dad’s a lawyer’ dirtbag who used his last name to exploit taxpayers and sell their national interest to the highest bidder,” the commentary notes.
Thus, as early as February, AOC attacked the Republican majority in the US House of Representatives for investigating the murky foreign business affairs led by Hunter Biden allegedly involving Joe Biden and other family members.
The radical New York leftist insisted that the House Oversight Committee was “weaponizing” its powers against a private citizen who happened to be a drug addict, that is, Hunter Biden.
“We could be talking about health care, we could be talking about bringing down the cost of prescription drugs, we can be talking about abortion rights, civil rights, voting rights. But instead, we’re talking about Hunter Biden’s half-fake laptop story,” AOC said at the time.
