VIDEO: Biden Mocks Patriots Who Support Second Amendment

Joe Biden

( – In a mocking tone, President Joe Biden has warned “brave right-wing Americans” that they stand no chance against the US military if they insist on viewing the Second Amendment as a guarantee against a tyrannical government.

You can watch the video a bit further down this post.

Biden’s warning seemed like ridicule of gun owners and gun rights as he argued that firearms protected by the Second Amendment would be no good “against F-15s.”

The president made the comments suggesting American citizens could be obliterated by the military in a speech in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he promoted gun control and the boosting of police forces nationwide.

He argued in favor of a federal ban on what gun control proponents call “assault weapons,” supporting that with a quote from late US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

“As one of the most – one of the most conservative justices in history, Justice Scalia, once wrote like, quote, ‘like most rights, the rights granted by the Second Amendment are not unlimited.’ They’re not unlimited right now,” Biden said.

“You can’t go out and buy an automatic weapon. You can’t go out and buy a cannon, and for those brave right-wing Americans who say it’s all about keeping America independent and safe, if you want to fight against the country, you need an F-15. You need something a little more than a gun,” the Democrat president elaborated.

“No, I’m not joking. Think about this. Think about the rationale we use, that’s used to provide this. And who are they shooting at? Shooting at these guys behind me,” he insisted further.

This isn’t the first time Biden has claimed Second Amendment supporters cannot take on the US government because the latter has aviation and “nuclear weapons.” He made similar comments more than a year ago.

“Those who say the blood of lib – ‘the blood of patriots,’ you know, and all the stuff about how we’re going to have to move against the government,” Biden declared in June 2021.

“Well, the tree of liberty is not watered with the blood of patriots. What’s happened is that there have never been – if you wanted or if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s, and maybe some nuclear weapons,” he argued.

After the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, in May this year, the president urged the US Congress to ban “assault weapons and high capacity magazines.”
