VIDEO: DeSantis Outraged By Doctors Castrating Young Boys

( – Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has called for suing doctors who perform “gender-affirming surgeries” such as castrating young boys and giving double mastectomies to young girls.

You can watch the video of DeSantis speaking out further down this post.

DeSantis was speaking in Tallahassee, Florida, at a press conference about the substance abuse recovery model in the state when he veered into lashing out against the promoters of transgenderism and how it is allowed to mutilate youngsters.

“One of the things that they are trying to do, is they talk about these very young kids getting gender-affirming care. But they don’t tell you what that is. They’re actually giving very young girls double mastectomies. They want to castrate these young boys. That’s wrong,” the Florida governor stated.

“We’ve stood up and said, both from the health and children’s wellbeing perspective, you don’t disfigure 10-12-13-year-old kids based on gender dysphoria. Eighty percent of it resolves, anyways, by the time they get older,” DeSantis said further.

“So why would you be doing this… I think that these doctors need to get sued for what’s happening,” he concluded amid applause and cheers from the audience.

Christina Pushaw, DeSantis’ spokeswoman, later told The Daily Mail that by saying “they,” the governor referred to “the powerful institutions and people who push the false narrative that so-called “gender-affirming care” (experimental medical and surgical interventions) is the best way to deal with gender dysphoria or confusion in children and youth.”

“Moreover, “they” – the politicians, doctors, and activists who promote “gender-affirming care” – falsely claim that puberty blockers are safe and should be given to children who are confused about their gender,” Pushaw added.

The Republican administration of Florida has already taken steps to counteract what DeSantis has called the indoctrination of children by the left.

In April, the state’s Health Department changed its guidance on gender dysphoria in minors under 18 years of age by discouraging hormone treatments, puberty blockers, and sex change surgery.

Before that, in March, Florida’s legislature passed, and DeSantis signed the “Parental Rights in Education” bill, which bans the discussion of sexuality and sexual orientation in kindergartens and primary schools through third grade.

The left has attacked the law as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill even though it presumably doesn’t mention the word “gay” to prohibit it.
