Testifying before a congressional committee yesterday (see video below), FBI Director Wray acknowledged that one of the crimes associated with illegal immigration on the United States’ southern border is an “epidemic” of drugs being transported into the U.S.
In answer to a pointed question, Director Wray stated: “I totally agree that the drug issues related to the border are extremely significant. That fentanyl – the problem with fentanyl – fentanyl coming into this country from elsewhere, including from the southwest border, is something that I think can fairly be described as an epidemic.”
