(TheRedAlertNews.com) – To say that United States Representative Matt Gaetz — a Florida Republican who easily won re-election last week — is controversial would be the understatement of the month.
At various times during his short time in Congress, he has been under state and federal criminal investigations due to a range of allegations.
Still, his recent statement about what needs to change in Washington, DC, has many folks shaking their heads in agreement.

According to Gaetz (he explains each of these in more detail in the video):
- No member of Congress should be allowed to accept donations from a federal lobbyist or political action committee.
- Former members of Congress should be prohibited from lobbying for life.
- Members of Congress should be banned from trading individual stocks.
- Legislation should only deal with one subject—no omnibus bills.
