VIDEO: Weakness SHOWN – Biden/Harris SLAMMED!

JOE BIDEN / KAMALA HARRIS

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a merciless critique exposing the disgraceful weakness that America has shown once again due to the Biden-Harris administration, a GOP senator has blasted the recent prisoner exchange with Putin’s Russia as a move benefiting and stimulating the nation’s foreign enemies.

In a Fox News Sunday interview, Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina vehemently criticized the prisoner swap deal between the United States and Russia.

He asserted that this exchange serves the interests of Russian President Vladimir Putin and could potentially embolden adversaries of the U.S. by incentivizing them to detain Americans under false accusations.

In the televised interview, Graham explicitly stated that the agreement “absolutely” benefits Putin. He elaborated on a recurring problem.

“We’ve got a cycle here. You have trumped up charges against Americans. You accused them of things they didn’t do. You put them in jail, and you only release them when we have to release Russian spies and killers. This cycle needs to stop,” the senator declared.

The exchange in question led to the release of several Americans who had been held in Russia under varying circumstances.

Among those freed were Evan Gershkovich, a journalist for the Wall Street Journal, and Paul Whelan, a former Marine.

On the other side, the Russians regained custody of Vadim Krasikov, a known assassin, along with several others accused of espionage activities.

Additionally, the swap included the release of twelve Germans from Russian detention, marking it as the most substantial exchange since the cessation of the Cold War.

Graham further commented on the broader international implications of such deals, suggesting that they exhibit vulnerability on the part of the United States, which could be exploited by other nations.

“At the end of the day, I think the Iranians see this is yet another sign of weakness,” he remarked.

“The more thugs like Putin get rewarded for doing bad things, the more bad things you will get. So I’m worried that the Iranians and the Chinese are watching, and this is making all of our enemies more provocative, not less,” the senator added.

While the swap was successful for some, Marc Fogel, an American schoolteacher, remains detained in Russia, serving a 14-year sentence on drug trafficking charges.

John Kirby, a White House spokesperson, acknowledged the administration’s efforts to secure Fogel’s release during these negotiations, but admitted they were ultimately unsuccessful.

The prisoner exchange was championed by the White House as a significant achievement of Biden-Harris diplomacy.
