Walz HIT; BOMBSHELL Letter

KAMALA HARRIS / TIM WALZ

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a tremendous strike upon the Democrat presidential ticket led by Kamala Harris, her vice-presidential pick, Tim Walz, has been accused of “stolen valor” by dozens of US military veterans now serving in Congress.

Walz, the radical left Governor of Minnesota, has been blasted for quitting his National Guard unit before its deployment to Iraq.

This controversy flared up just as he was about to appear at the Democratic National Convention this week, where he was introduced as the party’s nominee for vice president.

The accusations were formalized in a letter from military veterans serving in Congress, which declared a vote of no confidence in him, WND reports.

A Fox News article reported that the letter described the vice-presidential role as “a position that requires the trust of the American people and a solemn commitment to duty on behalf of the United States of America.”

“As veterans who have served our nation, we feel compelled to address your egregious misrepresentations and urge you to come clean to the American people,” state the signatories, emphasizing their own military backgrounds.

They specifically criticized Walz for his public assertions about his military record.

“You have stated you are ‘damn proud’ of your service, and like any American veteran should be. But there is no honor in lying about the nature of your service. Repeatedly claiming to be a ‘retired command sergeant major’ when you did not complete the requirements was not honorable,” the letter reads.

Walz did achieve the rank of command sergeant major. However, maintaining this rank into retirement necessitates fulfilling certain tenure and course requirements, which Walz did not meet.

Despite this, he has repeatedly claimed in recent years to be a “retired command sergeant major,” a status that he does not hold.

This letter was made public by the Trump campaign, according to the report.

Walz’s military career began when he joined the Nebraska National Guard as a teenager, and he has since served in various capacities.

He has also boasted about his involvement with military weaponry during the Iraq war, though he was stationed in Italy at the time and worked as a lawyer.

JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential nominee and Ohio senator, along with other critics, have pointed out that Walz retired just months before his unit’s scheduled deployment to Iraq in 2005.

The letter, initiated by retired Army sergeant and Congressman Brian Mast (R-FL), included signatures from several servicemembers-turned-legislators such as Sens. Joni Ernst (R-IA), Roger Marshall (R-KS), Rick Scott (R-FL), Roger Wicker (R-MS), and Reps. Brian Babin (R-TX), Jennifer Kiggans (R-VA), among others.
