(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Is the career of the most outrageous member of The View over because of repeated comments she has made about the Holocaust in recent days?
It is if some of her co-hosts and staffers of the show get their way.
The other day, as most know by now, Goldberg argued on The View that the Holocaust was “not about race.” After receiving severe backlash from Jewish organizations and prominent Jews – not to mention many non-Jews – Goldberg apologized. However, before the proverbial ink was dry on her apology, Goldberg went on a late-night television show and repeated her claims that the Holocaust had nothing to do with race.
Now, as the New York Post reports:
“There is growing fury inside ABC over Whoopi Goldberg’s controversial Holocaust claims, with insiders demanding that her apology isn’t enough and she must be fired.
“On Monday’s edition of “The View,” Goldberg, 66, alleged that the Holocaust was “not about race,” claiming Nazis and Jews were both white.
“She doubled down on the claim on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Monday after stating via Twitter, ‘I stand corrected.'” [emphasis added]
Further:
“‘ABC staffers and Disney Network execs are saying Whoopi went way too far. And board members are not happy with her apology and want a fuller retraction. The word is that Whoopi is in ‘deep s–t,” one ABC insider told us.
“‘Why does Whoopi seemingly get a pass when others don’t? Perhaps this time she won’t. Many at the network – including her fellow hosts – believe Whoopi is too controversial now for the show.'” [emphasis added]
That’s a darn good question. Whether you agree with her or not, why does Whoopi always get a pass when several former co-hosts of The View were canned for far less controversial statements.
