(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Star Wars actor Mark Hamil, a champion of leftist causes, has been attacked by a “woke” online mob for hitting the “Like” button on a tweet by “Harry Potter” series author J.K. Rowling.
Rowling herself has been the target of woke and transgender harassment for years now due to her vocal defense for women as opposed to “trans women,” that is, biological men claiming to be females.
Hamil came under attack after transgender British news host India Willoughby lashed out against J.K. Rowling’s defense of womanhood as well as her presumed “stance against transgender radicalism,” Breitbart News reported.
“I’m more of a woman than J.K. Rowling will ever be,” Willoughby wrote on Twitter.
“Citation needed,” Rowling responded.
Her brief reply prompted Mark Hamill to give her a “Like,” which was noticed by woke “trolls” who began “mercilessly calling for his head.”
The Star Wars actor was attacked immediately even though he is a known champion of “virtually every left-wing cause imaginable over the past few years,” the report noted.
That includes his open hatred of former President Donald Trump, his pro-abortionist stance, and his support for Disney’s attempted resistance to Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which forbids kindergarten and elementary school teachers from discussing sexuality with children.
This isn’t the first time Hamill has gotten in trouble with the far-left cancel mobs online. In a previous case, he caused their wrath by “liking” a tweet by singer and actress Bette Midler in defense of womanhood.
“WOMEN OF THE WORLD! We are being stripped of our rights over our bodies, our lives and even of our name! They don’t call us ‘women’ anymore; they call us ‘birthing people’ or ‘menstruators,’ and even ‘people with vaginas!’ Don’t let them erase you! Every human on earth owes you!” tweeted Bette Midler.
Transgender proponents have attacked Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling since the summer of 2020. Back then, she warned that their ideology could cause the “erasure of womanhood” because it denied the existence of the basic biology which differentiated women from men.
“If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth,” Rowling tweeted at the time.
Among the fierce social media backlash she faced, the Harry Potter author was denounced by the child star actors made famous by her works – Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Eddie Redmayne.
Subsequently, Rowling published an essay about her experiences as a victim of sexual assault and domestic violence. She declared that the idea that men could become women erased womanhood.
