Bombshell Poll Slams Biden

Joe Biden

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a striking new development showing President Joe Biden’s reelection hopes are increasingly long-shot, a new public opinion poll has found that almost all American voters now consider him too old for another White House term.

According to the latest survey by Ipsos, a whopping 86% of US adults think Biden’s age is too advanced for a second term, ABC News reports, cited by The Daily Wire.

This represents a double-digit spike compared with a September poll by The Washington Post, in which 74% of the respondents said the president was too old for his job.

The results at the time had marked a 6-point increase compared with another poll conducted in May.

The latest survey by Ipsos also discovered that even 73% of Democrats now view Biden as too old, as do 91% of independents.

The data for this latest poll was gathered on Friday and Saturday among 528 adults.

It presents a margin of error for the total sample of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.

This poll follows the publication of US Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on Thursday, which was critical of Biden’s management of classified documents.

Although Hur did not propose any charges, the report dwelled Biden’s memory issues and advanced age. It concluded that they would likely deter a jury from convicting him.

81-year-old Biden, already the oldest individual to assume the presidency, would be 86 by the end of a second term.

His habit of losing his train of thought during speeches, combined with instances of tripping or falling captured on camera, have raised doubts about his capacity for effective leadership, The Wire report points out.

In response to Hur’s report, Biden held a press conference, during which he claimed his memory was “fine,” although he confused world leaders.

The Ipsos poll also touched on the age concern regarding former President Donald Trump, the 77-year-old leading candidate for the GOP in the 2024 presidential race.

The survey found that 62% of adults consider Trump too old for another presidency, including 35% of Republicans and 71% of independents.

Additionally, 59% of those surveyed think both Biden and Trump are too old for the presidency.
