After a prominent liberal Democrat slammed America as “one of the worst countries” on earth, Florida’s Attorney General called for the deportation of a U.S. House representative.
Somali-born Ilhan Omar launched a baffling tirade against President Donald Trump’s military parade, sparking nationwide outrage.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier did not mince words when he shared a viral clip of Omar’s anti-American comments on social platform X, writing “Denaturalize and Deport” above the video.
Originally posted by the account “End Wokeness,” the inflammatory clip shows Omar comparing the United States unfavorably to her home country of Somalia.
She was also seen criticizing the deployment of National Guard troops to maintain order during violent protests in Los Angeles.
In the controversial interview with left-leaning outlet Democracy Now!, Omar attacked America with stunning venom.
Omar declared:
“I grew up in a dictatorship, and I don’t even remember witnessing anything like that. To have a democracy, a beacon of hope for the world, to now be turned into one of the worst countries, where the military are in our streets without any regard for people’s constitutional rights while our president is spending millions of dollars propping himself up like a failed dictator with a military parade, it is really shocking.”
Omar’s attacks came as President Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles following violent protests that included attacks on federal agents and widespread vandalism.
The Department of Homeland Security reported increasing assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers and a surge in arrests of illegal aliens in the area.
“You come from a foreign country illegally into our country, you burn the American flag in protest of them trying to send you back to the country whose flag you’re waving? This is such a farce,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated.
DeSantis has also been vocal in his criticism of the riots, emphasizing the importance of law enforcement in maintaining order.
While California Governor Gavin Newsom opposed the troop deployment, suggesting it would escalate tensions, Florida’s leadership has taken a firm stance against the lawlessness playing out on America’s streets.
Uthmeier was appointed by DeSantis and previously served as his presidential campaign manager.
He joins other prominent Republicans, including Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who have called for Omar’s deportation.
Omar, who was elected in 2019 as the first African refugee and Muslim woman in Congress, has a history of making controversial statements about America.
As of now, Omar’s office has not responded to requests for comment on Uthmeier’s statement.
