BREAKING: Biden Impeachment Resolution Released

Impeachment

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – Taking a significant step in their pursuit of accountability while legally shielding the procedure, House Republicans just introduced a resolution to formally authorize the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.

Spearheaded by Representative Kelly Armstrong (R-ND), this resolution seeks to consolidate the findings of various House committees examining Hunter Biden’s international business ventures and other criminal activities.

This procedural advancement, scheduled for a vote next week, follows the initial September announcement of an impeachment investigation by then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy. The formalization aims to bolster the legal standing of the inquiry, addressing the White House’s claims that the probe lacks constitutional validity due to the absence of full House endorsement.

Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) emphasized the importance of a full House vote, saying:

“Constitutionally, it’s not required. Speaker said we’re [in] an impeachment inquiry, [then] we’re in an impeachment inquiry. But if you have a vote of the full House of Representatives and the majority say we’re in that official status as part of our overall oversight work or constitutional oversight duty that we have, it just helps us in court.”

The resolution underscores the extensive investigative efforts by the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committees. These committees found that Hunter Biden ran a profitable foreign influence scheme during and after Joe Biden’s vice presidency. Recent revelations include an eleven-page email metadata log indicating Joe Biden’s use of an alias to establish direct communication with Hunter’s business partner, Eric Schwerin.

In early November, House Republicans issued a subpoena to Hunter Biden as part of the broader impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) warned of contempt of Congress proceedings if Hunter fails to appear for his scheduled deposition on December 13.

In response to Comer’s demand for a closed-door session, Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, called for a public hearing, claiming transparency issues. Comer, supported by House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan, reiterated that Hunter Biden must comply with the committee’s stipulations, underscoring the non-negotiable nature of the subpoena’s terms.
