NPR Insider’s Stunning Admission (Video)

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – In a nightmarish revelation, everything American patriots have felt about how evil the mainstream media really are has been confirmed as a veteran NPR editor has disclosed that the taxpayer-funded outlet worked to topple former President Donald Trump, while pushing identity politics upon the public.

Uri Berliner, a seasoned editor with National Public Radio (NPR) who has dedicated 25 years of his career to the organization, recently penned an essay published on Tuesday by The Free Press.

In it, he illuminates perceived bias within NPR during the tenure of former President Donald Trump, pointing out an alleged agenda against Trump, The Daily Caller reports.

Berliner argues that the outlet was overly focused on disproven allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

He further critiques NPR for adopting a monolithic focus on race and identity issues, suggesting this emphasis led to a homogeneous ideological environment and spurred on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

“Persistent rumors that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia over the election became the catnip that drove reporting. At NPR, we hitched our wagon to Trump’s most visible antagonist, Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA),” Berliner said.

He continues to detail how the initial objective coverage of Trump, described as “tough, straightforward,” eventually skewed towards undermining his presidency.

In his critique, Berliner also mentions NPR’s decision to overlook the story of Hunter Biden’s laptop during the 2020 election, quoting the managing editor’s rationale.

“We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions,” the NPR staffers were reportedly told.

Berliner discusses NPR’s stance on the COVID-19 pandemic’s origins, revealing a bias towards the natural origin theory over the lab leak hypothesis, a stance not fully supported by evidence at the time.

“We became fervent members of Team Natural Origin, even declaring that the lab leak had been debunked by scientists,” he states.

Despite efforts to diversify its audience, NPR has struggled to reflect the demographic composition of the United States.

Berliner provides statistics showing that NPR’s audience is predominantly white and progressivist concentrated in coastal and university towns, which starkly contrasts with the broader US population.

Reflecting on NPR’s ideological shift, Berliner notes a significant leftward movement among its audience since 2011. This shift is underscored by the decrease in conservative and moderate listeners.
