The Rolling Stones Shocking Announcement

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – No one thought it would ever happen again. The legendary English rock band, The Rolling Stones, just announced they will release their first new album of original songs since 2005.

The new Rolling Stones album, “Hackney Diamonds,” will come 18 years after the last one, “A Bigger Bang,” The Associated Press reports, as Newsmax cites.

It will also become the band’s first since its drummer, Charlie Watts, died in 2021. Watts died in a London hospital at age 80, with no reason given officially. However, last year, his bandmate Keith Richards said Watts had had cancer.

The Rolling Stones will reveal more significant details about the much-anticipated new album’s release on Wednesday during an event in the Hackney district of East London.

That event will be a live interview by Jimmy Fallon, the host of “The Tonight Show.” It will be streamed live on YouTube on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. EST and 6:30 a.m. PST.

“Hackney may be at the heart of Hackney Diamonds, but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube,” the iconic band declared in a statement.

The announcement of their new album, “Hackney Diamonds,” comes after the Rolling Stones conducted a “cryptic” teaser campaign involving projecting their mouth and tongue logo on the façade of landmarks in major cities, such as New York, London and Paris.

The teaser campaign also featured a sneak preview of one of their new songs, “Don’t Get Angry With Me.”

According to Rolling Stone magazine, the presentation of “Hackney Diamonds” might also involve a guest appearance by Beatles legend Paul McCartney. There were also reports that Ringo Starr was on recording sessions, but those have been denied as untrue.

The Rolling Stones, founded in 1962, had a European tour in summer 2022 to celebrate their 60th anniversary.

“They show no sign of slowing down, despite Richards and Wood being in their late 70s and Jagger turning 80 in July,” The Rolling Stone magazine notes.

It recommends that fans pay attention to when the rock legends will go on tour again next year to promote their new album.

So far, the ban has released 30 studio albums, 13 live albums, 28 compilation albums, and 50 video albums.
