ALERT: Impeachment Vote Today

(TheRedAlertNews.com) – The final reckoning has now arrived for Alejandro Mayorkas, President Joe Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary, who faces an impeachment vote in the House on Tuesday for allowing over 10 million illegal aliens to invade the United States in the past three years.

Some House Republicans have been pushing for Mayorkas’ impeachment since 2021.

Now the GOP House caucus agrees that the border situation has deteriorated into a crisis.

The nation has seen over 3 million illegal immigrant crossings in 2023 alone, according to data from the Department of Homeland Security.

More than 10 million migrants have entered the United States illegally since January 2021 when Joe Biden entered the White House. Those include about 2 million gotaways.

The resolution to impeach the secretary of homeland security will be on the House floor Tuesday, after on Monday night, it was advanced in an 8-4 votes along party lines by the GOP-led House Rules Committee.

Moreover Tuesday’s impeachment vote is happening alongside discussions about a new Senate bill on border security, which House Republicans have already rejected as a potential cause for increased illegal immigration.

Meanwhile, the proposed border security bill was already dismissed by former President Donald Trump.

“Only a fool, or a Radical Left Democrat, would vote for this horrendous Border Bill, which only gives Shutdown Authority after 5000 Encounters a day,” he wrote on Truth Social.

Trump argued that the authority to close the border already exists but wasn’t utilized.

“We already have the right to CLOSE THE BORDER NOW, which must be done,” he added.

In response to the motion to impeach Mayorkas, the president issued a statement Monday afternoon blasting the GOP.

“From his time in the Justice Department as a U.S. Attorney to his service as Deputy Secretary and now Secretary of Homeland Security, he has upheld the rule of law faithfully and has demonstrated a deep commitment to the values that make our Nation great,” Biden declared, as cited by NBC News and Newsmax.

He argued that impeaching Secretary Mayorkas would represent an “unprecedented and unconstitutional act of political retribution” that would fail to address the real issues at the southern border.

In his statement, Biden accused the GOP of using the impeachment procedure solely for achieving partisan goals.

“The impeachment power was never intended as a device for members of an opposing political party to harass Executive Branch officials over policy disputes,” Biden’s statement said.

“Impeaching Secretary Mayorkas would trivialize this solemn constitutional power and invite more partisan abuse of this authority in the future,” the president added.
